Fast analytical torque & drag model that treats the drill string as a flexible cable. Suitable for most directional well profiles.

Stiff String Model

Bending stiffness terms included. More accurate in high-DLS sections. Validated against field T&D measurements per Engineering Note ND-2026-003.

T&D Gauge Strip

Pick Up Weight, Slack Off Weight, and On-Bottom Torque displayed as live dual-ring semicircle gauges with configurable warning thresholds.

Wellbore Assembly

Drag-and-drop BHA and drill string assembly shared with NeuralFlow. Casing shoe depths and borehole elements are common to both apps.

Both T&D models run on background Swift actors. Switching models or editing parameters triggers immediate recalculation without blocking the UI.
